Who am I?

I'm Larissa Almeida, a nutritionist registered by CRN4, and a health coach certified by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition New York.

I graduated in Nutrition from the State University of Rio de Janeiro in 2008, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I started working with patients immediately after graduation. As I delved into this healing field, my curiosity grew in seeking knowledge for an integrative approach. The focus of my studies has always been to facilitate the weight loss process, improve results in biochemical exams and promote effective adherence among my patients.
 

I specialized in the benefits of medicinal plants, delving deeper into the biochemical understanding of the body and the interaction between our genes and the food we consume, seeking to improve our quality of life and prevent diseases. Although my solid scientific basis contributed significantly to the effectiveness of my treatment, I realized the need to integrate other aspects, such as the environment in which we live, our body's specific needs in relation to food and the emotional patterns associated with food. This is how I sought knowledge in the area of integrative nutrition and became certified inIntegrative Nutrition Health Coach and Emotional Eating.
 

This journey allowed me to delve deeper into the details of my patients' routines, enabling me to offer more comprehensive assistance. Currently, my approach goes beyond simply observing what they eat, also including how they eat. I develop functional strategies that cover all body systems, resulting in a more complete and effective treatment.

I currently live in Monterey, California, in the United States, and provide remote consultations, helping people from different parts of the world.
